The Aviator Rig – An Alpha Series rig built to eSport Simulation Unified Platform standards.

The Aviator Rig is the perfect rig for the flying enthusiast who is keen to experience the thrill of travelling the world with titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator or becoming an ace at air combat or space combat. It is built to the eSport Simulation Unified Platform Standard meaning it can be converted to an Openwheel racing rig with a more ‘seat inclined/feet up’ driving position found in those racing styles.
Seat:
The seat has been selected to provide comfort during long races. It is adjustable forwards/backwards as well as reclineable. The seating position on this rig is styled upon a typical aircraft pilot position which is more ‘upright’ than the typical openwheel racing seating position.
Wheel Platform:
Fully adjustable angle and the platform will accommodate the recommended yokes and other flying controls from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec (others may fit but have not been tested).
Pedal Platform:
Fully adjustable forwards/backwards and tilt. The pedal platform will accommodate (and is pre drilled for) the recommended pedals from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec (others may fit but have not been tested).
Screen Platform:
The screen platform has several options. Perhaps the most versatile and basic is the single screen platform. This can accommodate a single screen, typically up to 32 inches. It can also accommodate a ‘spider’ screen mount (see accessories page) upon which can be mounted us to 4 24 inch screen in a typical configuration of triple screen for the flight visuals and an additional top mounted screen to provide the pilot with instrument feedback ( this can be configured using software such as Air Manager to provide electronic flight instruments tailored to specific aircraft). This is the set up chosen by many professional virtual pilots.
Additional platforms are available to accommodate a standard triple screen layout or a 49 inch wide screen.

Airframe:
The Rig is engineered in MDF and reinforced with aluminium to provide a strong and rigid airframe.
Styling:
The Aviator Rig is styled in white to reflect the typical aircraft color. Other options are red or black, selectable during the ordering process.
